The air in the library isn’t like the air anywhere else… (from Bud, Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis)
That’s right! Many times I’ve walked in a library and the smell evoked memories of childhood trips to the library…Beverly Cleary books, the Nancy Drew mystery aisle and the card catalog! Also, an old series of books about the children in a large family, like 7 or 8 children. Now it’s going to drive me nuts trying to remember. 🙂
I’m not sure if library air is good or bad, but it’s definitely distinct!
